Am I the only not really surprised to find out that Billy had an abusive dad? Like, all the signs were there to me. The temper, the over the top machismo, the way he treats Max, because it's what he knows.

I'm more interested now in where the hell Max came from. Like that memory clip, "Hey here's your new sister."

Like... was she adopted, stolen, wtf?

Billy's dad was shown to be abusive in season 2 and they also explained how Max (Mayfield) is his step-sister then.

I swear to god I blanked out season two, I have no idea why. Like, I don't even remember Lucas having a sister. Maybe I need to rewatch lol.

There were actually people arguing that what Billy's dad did wasn't abuse. Or that it clearly wasn't something that was had happened before.

Some arguments I heard (mostly on Reddit): Well, his dad just snapped. Billy isn't a kid so it isn't that bad. Billy has his own car, surely he is a spoiled kid.
