A small number of kids used by Qyburn doesn't constitute the entire citizenry, or all their children. There's at least 500,000 people in that city and it doesn't take half a brain to realize that the few thousands in the streets or a handful of kids are representative of the city. The show makers probably assumed most people are intelligent enough to realize that so they didn't need to spend time lavishing attention on the ordinary citizens going about their day to show they were basically decent.

I understand Danaerys Stormborn has great meaning to you, she's so precious, but, you need to stop justifying killing children.

Please stop. You are making Dany fans look bad. Just stop.

If you can't handle Dany at her worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve her at her best.

I can handle her just fine. Liking a character doesn't mean approving of everything they do or thinking they are perfect. Season 8 was terribly written and should never have happened. But as it was written, what she did was wrong. Made no sense for her to do any of it, but it was wrong. Bad writing with no development or explanation, but it was wrong.

If you really think that liking a character means you have to approve of everything they do, I don't know what to tell you. You are wrong.

Dany's behavior was consistent throughout. She wasn't poorly written, the last season was rushed.

I liked her up until how she dealt with aftermath of Meereen, how she reacted to the news that she had killed at least one abolitionist by crucifixion. She didn't do anything to learn more about the city before invading it. If she had, she would have avoided a lot of the mess afterwards. She refused to learn from her mistakes and just doubled down on how right she was. Because of her more humane and laudable actions such as opposing the pit fights, people tend to overlook her other actions and not see them so clearly overall.

She had her shining moments after that, but her flaws and reactions were consistent. How she was obsessed with being queen and others bend the knee even in the face of the threat from the north was cringe worthy, but it was no different from how she insisted on her way or the highway in the east. It was simply laid more bare in Westoros where her ways weren't going to work so well. She was just another Stannis Baratheon in that respect.

I don't think there was any mistake in writing her, only that Season 8 was too rushed to fully make clear of what made her tick.

She never had a best. She was a terrible character and actress from start to finish.

You're entitled to your wrong opinion, that's fine.

I am just happy she died and never got to sit on the throne. And she was stabbed knowing she was completely alone in the world. Monsters deserve endings like that.

I'm happy Drogon is taking her to Volantis for Kinvara to bring her back to life.
