Omg, this. I don't like Hopper much to begin with, but wow, he sucked in season 3.

AYRT - I was frustrated with him in season 2 but accepted the work he put in at the end, in apologizing/talking calmly to El, accepting Mike's anger and comforting him patiently, comforting Joyce as well and offering her a friendship after getting along fine with Bob all season. I looked forward to seeing more of that development while keeping his gruff crunchy outside, you know? And then ALL of that was GONE.

Yes!! I really hated how stupidly, childishly, absolutely without merit *jealous* he was of Joyce doing....anything. Like she owed him or something. Blech.
