I didn't start hitting up the Japanese fanart sites until after KH2, but I've seen it too - the big AkuMaru thing? I agree. Crap, crap, crap. Either way, I was more referring to the side of fandom we end up seeing more - the North American side - but I won't disagree with you.

Then again, the vast majority of doujinshi are Japanese-made, and to this day I have found few that are entirely IC :P Besides, in all honesty, you see very little Japanese fanart that's IC, for KH, really.

I don't like the fandom's mentality that the Japanese's OOC is okay, though. It's kind of weird.

-- totally agreed. I can't even look at some doujin 'cause like... even if the art is beautiful it's like why are they acting like that whyyyyy, it's like other people in my favorite characters' bodies, what's wrong with this comic??? *diiies*
