I am trying to decide where my next vacation will be. Looking at hotels and pricing them out. Why is that first one so low if it says it is for 12 nights?

Er... the option says stay FIVE nights and get 50% off one... something? One week? I don't think it's really possible to offer anything but speculation without more details. It could be a special promotion, it could be your dates fall within some sort of slow season for them, no idea.

It is in November because I plan on going during an off season.

That might explain it. November probably isn't peak tourist season for London because of the weather. Rates may go up again nearer to Christmas. Just be sure to read very carefully before you book.

Just seemed odd that the same days would have such a difference in price for the two places. Regardless, if it IS that cheap that is fantastic because it has good reviews.

So... it's for 6 nights. That's just under $100/night, which isn't terrible for London, but isn't super cheap. Am I missing something?

Ehh, yes and no. The pic you linked to seems standard. They're just telling you about the current promotions they're running for that hotel. It's up to the person booking to pay attention to what's being offered, and the conditions.

I've just had a play around on their site and in addition to the 50% off every five nights, Sundays are a lot cheaper than the other nights. That is also a room option only and some of the others are room and half-board.

Yeah, all I am looking for is a decent room and private bathroom. not sure if I could do the shared bathrooms in hostels.
