Most of them? 99 percent of M/F ships are dull as dishwater. In tv/movies/profic, that is. Mostly they only have M/F.

In fanfic....hrmmmmm.....again - 99 percent of M/F ships. I can't really think of any f/f or m/m ships i find boring - if i don't like the ship, it's usually not for 'it's boring' reasons.

One from back in the day: Aragorn/Legolas. It was just … probably the least interesting dynamic among the fellowship? Or outside it, for that matter.

My formative canon gay anime ships, Haruka/Michiru and Touya/Yukito. They were important to me when I was a teenager and canon gay being treated like a normal thing was a new revolutionary concept, but they do not hold up. Okay, they love each other and it's sweet. And what else? Nothing.

I find the majority of canon ships boring. Not every single one, just most. They just tend to be really obvious and predictable - almost paint but numbers. Especially the het ships. Plus, there's a kind of contextual and emotional simplicity to most canon ships that I find very uninteresting. It's like: "They meet! They are into each other! They don't get together for a while because reasons! Oh the drama! And also there's a plot but that's separate." Whereas in order to find a ship interesting, I usually need more than that. I need the relationship between the characters to be complicated, and to run deep, and to be in some way integral to the overall plot of the story.

I am going to be binging the new season of Queer Eye. I will also be playing video games with my family. My nephew especially has been wanting me to play Sea of Thieves with him. @.@

Sleeping. I'm way behind on sleep. Playing with my cat. New toys are coming tomorrow. Watching youtube vids (trolling for new music mostly). Listening to Sabaton's new album as well.

It's been a ridiculously stressful few days between work and family/personal stuff so I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I have groceries so I don't plan on leaving the house (plus there's a heat advisory, it may get up to 110 so they're telling everyone not to go outside unless it's absolutely necessary). I'm just going to be hanging out and relaxing mainly...I've got lots of books to read and some shows to catch up on, might listen to some podcasts, and I really need sleep.

And right now my friend keeps linking me to a ton of Good Omens fanfic, some of which seems like it might be decent, so I might read some of that tonight.
