This is by far the best, most comprehensive, and engaging sound machine site I've ever found. It's got everything, including amazing background noise for tabletop RPGs, musical drones, pretty nature sounds-- and they're all able to be layered, they're all adjustable, and ahhh I can spend hours on this. I keep a list of great combinations I've found.

My cat is the thing that make me happiest.

For websites, Flightrising, Youtube, and Listverse. TVtropes is fun, but I avoid it because I get sucked into the rabbit hole when I'm on there. Notalwaysright is great.

This Wednesday, my brothers and i are meeting our cousin from Massachusetts that we have *never* met (except online), because of a stupid grudge my late Uncle's late wife had with my late Dad.

My boss has been verbally abusive (swearing, yelling) and tomorrow I'm going to put in my two week notice (I've only been here for 5 months but that's QUITE enough). I'm nervous because I don't know if the abuse will get worse, but I'm also looking forward to not getting up at 5:30am and driving an hour to work anymore.

honestly that's good for you, and I wish you good luck finding a new better place.

I'm looking forward to Tall Ships this weekend!!!!! Every three years the Tall Ships festival/regatta is in the Great Lakes and this is our year, I can't fucking wait to tour the Santa Maria and the Picton Castle and then take a day-long sail on the Pride of Baltimore. My inner pirate is vibrating with excitement.

I ordered some plants to ship the week after my birthday earlier this week, because I was at SDCC and wouldn’t have time to plant them. It’ll also help keep my brain out of it’s usual combined “another year older and you’ve done jack shit” and post con blues, because yay, new plants!

My summer class ends in 4 weeks. So glad I'll be done with my econ requirements.

I have a temp job starting next month I'm really excited for. I'm recently graduated and basically this is a dream job (aside from being only temporary). It also means I'm moving next week. Exciting and scary.

On a smaller scale, I'm looking forward to the next session of my RP group (I'm the GM), because we're ending an adventure and starting a new one, which means there will be some super-interesting plot developments and also two NPCs that I kiiiiinda (really) ship are probably going to meet as well. I've been dying to talk about the plot with the players but obviously I can't until it happens in game.

Well any moral high ground I had is gone. After another argument where he told me I was imagining things I snapped. I waited until he was asleep and did what I swore i'd never do - I read his messages.

He’s been sending pictures of himself to his colleague for months. Can of worms now thoroughly open.

Sorry if this seems like a poor use of the GC board. :( I just don't have anyone else to tell. All of our friends are mutuals.
