I've seen people who've run into trouble when an author solicits "honest feedback" and then pitches a fit if it's not 100% positive, but for the most part* it's not that hard to not leave crit.

*If the fic is posted in the wrong place, or horribly mis-tagged, or there's surprise Nazi vore in the middle of it, then all bets are off.
