Fucking cosigned. I feel like there should be a rule that if you want to write about any disorder or mental illness or any form of brainweirds, you should at least read the Wikipedia page for it first - because the number of people I've encountered who don't seem aware that autism spectrum disorder involves a SPECTRUM is sort of depressing.

... not just autism, either.

The number of people who don't seem aware that MOST human behavior is on a spectrum is appalling. The people who will tell you you're doing sex / romance / abuse recovery / PTSD etc "wrong" really pisses me off.
