TV Aziraphale figured out Adam's name, address, and phone number and that shit would go down at the airbase. Basically, he figured out everything we see Anathema and Newt puzzle out later, and then some, since Anathema only connects the one prophecy to Adam because Newt already had his name and address from Shadwell, who got it from Aziraphale. He even tells Crowley that he made lots of notes and things and had them in the book. We just don't see him work all of it through, just a montage of him reading and then the bit with the phone number, and by that point the audience also already knows a lot of this stuff since we've already met Adam as a character. It seems at first glance that Aziraphale doesn't do anything, but he really does, propelling the storyline for him and Crowley, but also Anathema, Neat, Shadwell, and Mdme. Tracy.
