prior to five years ago, TV series with their serial nature were made without any contact with fans. at all. they had story arcs and seasons and character arcs planned out in advance so they could tell the story at their pace and woe betide the series that got cancelled after season 2 when those arcs weren't finished. meaning, your assertion that TV series are made with audience feedback in mind is flawed. At best, for the last 60 years, the only feedback the show creators ever got was Nielson ratings two weeks after the airing of an episode, and even those weren't always indicative of who enjoyed the show vs who was just watching out of habit or because they had to kill half an hour before the show they really wanted to watch.

if you want proof that the ability for fans to share ideas with creators is a bad idea, look at Game of Thrones and Once Upon A Time. Shows made to take fan desires into consideration, or in spite of them, turn out awful.

Can you please name some examples of shows with rigorously planned story arcs executed without interference from fans or other outside forces?
