Honestly, the biggest issue seems to be that they need to cast minorities other than black people if they want to race change.

Most people think diversity just refers to black people. Notice how much the topic of Asian winners at the Oscars was discussed during #oscarsowhite

to be fair that was a trending topic created by black people in the first place so of course that would center on them. Other minorities at times have a bad tendency of expecting black people to also advocate for them because they're the most hyper visible when in reality were they to do this then they'd be talking over the actual issues.

Yep.

Thankfully the media is starting to listen to complaints of non-Black PoCs concerning representation. It's still transparent that Black folks are blamed for racebending.
