On the one hand, I suspect that many of the people who spam politics into chat tend to skew young.

On the other hand, many of my peers have given up on multiplayer, or at least being social in multiplayer because they don't want to deal with harassment or "debaters."

Spamming politics is always annoying, but it's worse if the politics are bad.
