I went for a run this morning listening to music, and White Lines by Mellie Mel came on (the long version), and I was in. The. Zone. It was a good run.

I love when a good song comes on at the right moment and suddenly it's like, "Not only can I run faster, I actually kind of want to."

I miss cardio. I mostly just do heavy weight exercises these days (my ectomorphic ass is not going to build muscle any other way), but I never get in the zone doing weights.

Do it just for fun? It's not like extra exercise is bad for you :)

You're right, I could. But when I said I miss cardio, I mostly meant I miss it in comparison to my current workouts. There's still about eighty things I'd rather do.

I know some people genuinely enjoy working out, but I am not one of those people. Though music does help, quite a lot.

Work, and then cooking I hope. I had big plans to cook yesterday but I hadn't slept well and I eventually collapsed.

Worked all day outdoors. It was hot and sunny but not very intense work. Now that I am showered and clean, I need to go to the grocery store.

Worked on a case in the morning. Case in the early afternoon. Other than that, trying to stay off my feet as much as possible because my foot hurts a lot. Got a good amount of work done. Had some fun on Tumblr and Flightrising. Going to bed really soon since I have to be up early for a hearing in the morning.

Worked on my first non-square crochet project. It is just a flat circle but progress!

That is so pretty! I am still just getting the hang of stitches. I forgot how to do one as soon as stitch to a different one.

You'll get there eventually and then it'll be a whole exciting world of pretty stitches and patterns! I love this pattern because it's easy for me to space out and watch TV while doing it lol.

Slept. Then peed. Then slept again. It was a thing of true beauty. I'm tired. I hope I can fall back asleep.

I still haven’t found the original inciting tweet/incident/whatever the fuck started this, although I’ve figured out it was some idiot trying to justify semi-automatic weapons as the only thing that might save his children from a marauding band (herd? wallow? idk) of feral hogs. Which sounds like a great way to get gored and trampled to death unless maybe there’s such a thing as a semi-auto bazooka (please let there not be.)

So not only does he need guns to save his children from marauding hogs, but this is a recurrent problem in his life
