I think, for me, it'd really depend on how/why they "enjoy" it

I think the original comment mentioned how it was because those movies were rapey and sexualized horror in that specific way, and that was why they side-eyed the people who enjoyed them.

I won't touch Centipede but I watched Hostel 2 a while back (ending was a good twist) wouldn't rewatch, watched Hostel recently because Jay Hernandez is on my radar now and wow it's shocking in places but I appreciated the overall storyline without enjoying the particular tortures. I've not seen the Saw movies but I'm aware of them and wouldn't judge anyone for watching them, though maybe if that's their favorite ever thing I'd be more leery. I like the Evil Dead movies, not favorite of all time but I like them. Where is OP drawing the line.
