Good Omens - fic recs?

There's so much fluffy fic, which is nice and all but what I really want is angst. Specifically the "my loved one is being hurt / is in danger and I'm forced to watch" kind. If anyone has recs I'll try and give a rec in return.

Ooh, I'll be curious to see what kind of recs you get! I have a friend who keeps sending me Good Omens fic but it's all been super fluffy, so something angsty or dark and twisted would be interesting.

How are we feeling about emotional angst + hurt/comfort? Because I'm going through my favorites, and there are more of those than physical hurt/comfort, if they're of any interest. (Either way, I'm weeding out stuff for you, nonny!)

There's so much?! I'm wading through the hurt/comfort tag and there's tons of good ones. Weed out unfinished, crossovers, and the ships you don't like and have at.
Add angst tag if it's helpful.
Also the "holy water" tag has a lot of the specific thing you're interested in.

Meaning like TV openings, movie or video game soundtracks, commercial jingles, that kind of thing. AKA things people wouldn't consider "reaaal music"

Musical numbers, songs that were standalone songs first, or singles used for movies or TV don't count

I like the background music used in a lot of anime. Wolf's Rain, DNAngel, and YuYu Hakusho are three of my favorites that have awesome background music.

Skyrim soundtrack is great for video games. I've got a bunch of stuff I got off youtube. I really like Karlienne and Miracle of Sound. I have a crap ton of soundtracks actually. I'd say half my music is soundtracks.

One of my favorite pieces of music has always been "Signs" by Susumu Hirasawa, composed for the opening of the Berserk Ps2 game:

I can't think of anything currently, but when I was in elementary school there was this show that was basically an early version of Friends, except there were only two guys and two girls, that for some reason I was obsessed with and I loved the theme song. As far as I can remember the only lyrics were "we're going places" or something like that, over and over. I recorded it from the TV so the quality was awful but I listened to it constantly. I was a weird kid, lol.

I like the music from the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland, if that counts. I once heard it performed as a classical piece and it was quite nice.

I also have this thing for the song "Frozen Flower" from the Video Girl Ai soundtrack. I don't even remember the rest of the music but I bought one of the soundtrack CDs just to have that song.

Fandom vents

I keep checking AO3 for my tiny, obscure fandom hoping that one of these days there's going to be something for my ship, but every time there's something new it's just another update to the ongoing Pairing That I'm Not Sure Has Ever Interacted & Makes No Damn Sense To Me fic. I feel like this is a situation where people would tell me I need to write my own but I suck and can never finish anything. *sigh*

Also, in my other main fandom right now there are lunatics calling people mentally ill for not shipping their ship (which seems to be a NOTP for a large chunk of the fandom) or daring to acknowledge that it's not canon (the showrunners have said multiple times that it never will be). I'm trying to be nice and just ignore them and interact with other people who aren't insane but they're really annoying me.

Anyone have any fandom venting/rants they want to share?

What's your fandom? I guess you would have said if you wanted to, already, but.. whenever I read secrets/vents like this I always want to see if I can write something for the pairing in question.

So, I just got home from grocery shopping a bit ago and saw Avengers grapes. Having never seen the movie...are grapes a big part of it? Does someone make some kind of magical weapon out of grapes to destroy the bad guys or something? I'm kind of confused why it's a thing.
