This is really my favorite animated show since The Last Airbender.

I suppose I will watch it eventually. I just don't know how long it'll take for me to feel up to it.

Oh same. Star and Marco (both platonically and romantically) worked best when they were just being pals. It was organic and if it had steadily just grown into something romantic as the show progressed, I think I would have dug it. But then they just kept dragging out the whole "Will They, Won't They" nonsense and some bit of love triangles that it just fell into another cycle of cliche romance plots.

...Also I kinda wanted Marco and Tom to get together. Like I'm not the only one who felt a vibe between the two yes?

(And man, this isn't getting into the last episode where I'm still mixed over Star's big decision...)

Oh yes, platonic Starco is the best and I totally ship Tomco. Aside from that early joke episode where they sang a love duet, at the end of season 3 Tom told Marco "You're my best friend," which in this show's language (considering the other instances when characters have said it to each other) is a love confession.

The only reason I hate the decision was because I love the Butterfly Matriarchy idea. I hope we get a copy of the first Book of Spells that Lyric didn't save.

I really thought the show was going to go Tom/Star/Marco or Tom/Jana/Marco/Star and I was very here for it.
