I often forget Hux even exists, he's just a nonexistent, flat character. Yikes @ the first comment ITT tbh, no character with that little personality deserves to have that many paragraphs written about them.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
Clearly not everyone agrees with you.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well duh, fandom loves one dimensional whitebread men they can project anything they want onto. Obviously Hux would be popular, he's like the poster child of this phenomenon.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
I don't personally think he's one dimensional. But whatever.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 11:47 am (UTC)(link)
But female characters are, of course, too flat or badly written to connect to. Ugh. It's annoying.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Why do you assume that the same people think these things? Most people I met who like Hux are actually very big fans of Rey as well.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
OP of the first comment here. Die mad about it, bih!

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
i'm sorry anon this is fandom: where flat, dull, zero-dimensional white male characters will get 10k words written about the shape of their eyebrows, but we can't even string a positive sentence together about a female character or characters of colour.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Well then what's stopping you and ayrt? Go and write all those deep and wonderful stories about the female POC characters you love so much instead of whining that other people don't do it for you and have other interest instead.

(Anonymous) 2019-08-24 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Please, they'd rather just sit on their asses and whine how people are wrong for liking characters that they dont like.
