Thank you for saying it. I'm sick to tired of the people who are crying rape when it comes to Sam/Ruby, but don't say a single thing when it comes to Dean/Castiel. It's all "look, it's sexual tension." I ship Sam/Ruby and Dean/Ruby, and I'm desperately looking for some happy fic where Sam doesn't become evil or Ruby's not evil.

Also? Sammy did not deserved to be punched twice.

I would've punched him twice, personally. But then, I spend half my time watching the show wanting to punch both of them (and then hug them).

But dude, I totally agree with the Dean/Castiel. It's not all about teh pretties, SPN fandom. It's creepy.

And see: I'm slasher, I love slash, but, c'mon? I just hate Dean/Castiel. C'mon, guys, he's an angel, almost a sin. And... Whatever. I can't like the Dean/Castiel stuff. And yes, I love Sam/Ruby. Badly. I don't like much Dean/Ruby, but I live for Sam/Ruby. The only pairing that makes me write het.

I have a theory that Sam is broken and suffering from clinical depression, which Dean just made worse.

I don't like Dean/Ruby as much, but I'll read it. Sam/Ruby is awesome. I once had a fic idea in my head where Ruby gets pregnant with a prophecized child who decide the fate of the war. In her ninth month of pregnancy, she bolts because she doesn't think Sam loves her or wants the baby. Ruby ends up being chased by demons and angels who want the baby, and goes into labor. Somebody told me it would be a bad!fic, so I gave up on the idea.

I like your theory and you should write that fic. It's not the idea that makes a story a badfic, it's the way it's written. If you like the idea, write it.

... And what I'm writing in this very moment is a Sam/Ruby PWP, so... haha But it's not a dark!fic, so, whatever.

Well just when it comes to the consent issue, I think it's a little easier to argue Castiel's side because if people want to assume he's telling the truth for their fic then they could also argue that since the person he's inhabiting consented to it, they are able to communicate so the person would be able to consent to sex too. Whereas the same would be much harder to argue for Ruby.

Outside of that though, most of those talking about rape in regards to Sam/Ruby are talking about CANON. Most of us don't care at all if people want to write fic about it. I'll never read it personally because I don't do het but I don't care what other people do about their fantasies. For me, I draw a line between the boys going so far to sleep with a possessed person in canon vs. fanon. I'm cool with all sorts of lines being crossed in fanfic, I just don't want to see some of them happen in canon. Since there's next to no chance Castiel/Dean would happen in canon, there's no fear that they might cross those possible sticky consent boundaries there. However, since currently the show is hinting towards at least the possibility that they could go there in canon with Sam/Ruby, it grosses me out because I would never want those to be Sam's action in canon.
