Shit, which comment were you reading? I didn't see anything in the original comment about hating on women. Just an expression of liking Yaoi. Some Yaoi fiction has girls, some don't. There's no hard and fast rule but if you look it up, you'll find Yaoi's primary focus is on male/male relationships and Yuri is female/female relationships. So of course Yaoi may not have a lot of women in it and if they do, they are rarely the focus, main character etc.

I'm not a big reader of Yaoi myself but at least I didn't read that comment as a "I hate women" declaration.

Don't worry. I understood what you were trying to say in your secret too. These other morons obviously haven't read through it properly. Who honestly wants to pick up Yaoi to read about females? That's what Yuri is for.

I write original fiction and all my heroines are strong female role models. I do not hate women in the least, but Yaoi is about male relationships and women are rarely seen in them and if they are, they play a much less prominent role. The same goes for Yuri. They might have men in them but they play minor roles.

People need to stop reacting first and thinking later.
