Oh, awesome, thanks for making me suddenly self conscious about something I thought I got over years ago.

Seriously, that's your secret? That someone has fucking circles under their eyes? BOO HOO. That's what some of us just fucking look like. My under-eye circles look exactly like his - I've always had them, and there's very little I can do about them. Yeah, they're worse when I'm tired, but not being tired doesn't make them go away. Makeup can help a little, but not that much. IF ONLY I COULD APPLY YOUR MAD PHOTOSHOP SKILLZ TO MY REAL LIFE.

in a sense, yes. I'll agree he's not a 'young leading man' like maybe Brad Pitt, but to a certain extent, he is making his living by his face, especially when chosen for roles that require a certain look.

2. I really do not agree that Harvey Keitel, or any dedicated actor, makes his (or her) living by his face. He makes his living by bringing characters to life, by translating flat characters written on a page into three-dimensional people. People are often cast because they have a certain look, but they're also cast because of their talent.

I don't know what this has to do with anything, except that I guess I bristle at the idea that all actors are vain and matter only as much as their looks.

And honestly, I don't care what aesthetic people like. I enjoy imperfections, other people can choose not to. I just found the "secret" itself kind of moronic in a "what the fuck kind of secret is that?" way. I get annoyed with seeing a lot of things posted here that don't seem to me to be opinions that it wouldn't be fine to openly share with the world. I shouldn't have taken that out on the OP when it's an annoyance I have with other secrets too, but the secret caught my attention and I did.

I've got killer dark circles. I'm not really self-conscious about them, but I thought I'd let ya know you aren't alone.

Personally, I think the photoshopped image looks creepy. People are supposed to have lines where their eyelids hit. It looks freaky not to have them there.
