Agreed. I like 1 and 2, but after that they get bad. Parts of 4 might be tolerable, except then it gets bad.

I gave up on the book about how communism is bad. (I mean, it is. But I'm not reading a FANTASY book to be hit over the head about how communism is bad.) I don't even remember which one that was, but it was past book four.

I miss the show too. All these years later, I still haven't completed season two, because I don't want it to be over!

I'll never read a book when the author puts their name bigger than the title. Makes them seem like a pretentious asshole that cares more about themselves than their writing. (I'll wager I'm usually right.)

I managed to make it through most of the books (with lots of skimming, particularly of Pillars of Creation, which I probably only read 10% of at best), but the first were definitely the best ones. And the show was so much better than the books. I was so sad when it was cancelled. Not just because the show was fun, but because the fandom was amazing. I miss it all a lot.

The show was amazing and the fandom was amazing. I miss the Seeker fandom. Plus, Kahlan was a big part of me finally accepting that I was bi, so I'll always love the show for that.

I really liked these books as a young teen, but didn't finish the series. I remember really liking the fourth one. After a while I got tired of the repetitive writing style, though.
