1. Even his name was stupid. Alvers, Lance, the Avalanche? Did Mystique think she was funny? He'd had to quickly inform her of his own self-chosen title before she got the bright idea of calling him Petey the Speedy or something equally foul. He shuddered at the thought. His dad had the worst taste in broads.

2. The horse stared at the two boys kissing on the floor with vague disgust at the fact that he was no longer the one getting affection. (I'll let your minds fill in the blanks for this one)
