It's not yet 9am where I am, so most of what I've been doing is being surprised that there are TWO secrets today made from comments I've made! It's both gratifying and sort of weird!

I was off work today so I slept in late. When I got up I had breakfast and went on the internet awhile, then I showered and dressed and went to the grocery store. Got all my shopping done, yay! Then I got an iced peach oolong tea at my favorite boba place and came home. I had lunch (a really good salad), and now I'm just chilling and watching Star Wars movies while I wait for football to start.

Not a whole lot... went for a walk, because I needed the exercise and thankfully it wasn't too hot out today. I'm looking forward to autumn and cooler weather, though. Then went to Aldi for groceries. I love Aldi, it saves me a lot of money but I still feel guilty for my food expenses.

Utterly fail at work. Of course, I was distracted by the hurricane, but I feel like failing at work is the norm lately and this doesn't help.

(No, seriously. I worked remotely today and basically goofed off more than I actually worked.)

Fucked around for a couple hours at work because I have finished all the work I need to do for the week. So tomorrow I have to figure out something else to do. Guess I can ask my boss if he has any spare work. 😭

I went to work and had a decent day. Now I'm at home avoiding the sun and watching anime. I'm going to do some homework and work on my fic later on.

Went to work, still here, currently on break, mad that my plant shipment is late and worried about the heat maybe cooking some of the little plant starts. Then again, some of them are borderline tropical and will probably be okay so long as they don’t spend the weekend in a shipping comtainer in the sun or something.

Slept most of the day. Had a doctor's appointment at 4:30. Picked up Mcdonald's for dinner on the way home. I know. Not the best. But I feel icky and I had a craving. Now I'm eating my dinner and then going back to bed.

I went to work, but did about half of what I should have because I got the Con Crud.

Did a bit of cleaning. Also a bit of gardening. Washed some clothes and took a quick shower.

If you could meet all your basic needs AND never leave your house... would you?

Let's say that you could stay at home, earn enough money to live comfortably and have everything else delivered. Your home is cozy, you've got high speed internet. How often would you go outside?

At least once a day, if only just to go for a walk and stretch my legs

Well, I'd want to have fun outside of the internet, so... at least a few times a week. Unless I'm in a hermit mood.

Unless I was sick or the weather was really awful, every day, just to walk around, and if I had that much free time/money I’d probably spend a lot of time at the zoo and seeing plays and stuff.

I like going on walks, so I'd be out doing that.

That wouldn't feel fulfilling for me. That would feel too selfish. I want to help people and make a difference in the world. A little hard to do that being home all the time. Besides, I love being a lawyer.

I'm something of a homebody, but yes, I'd still go out. I visit an elderly relative every day to check in on her and see if she needs any errands done; and I do occasionally enjoy going out and spending time with other people.

I'd still go out pretty often. I like walking and riding my bike and I love taking the train to neighboring cities on the weekend and just exploring on my own.

I'd still want to go out and about at least a couple times a day. Stretch my legs, feel the sun a bit. I'm not social, but I like going to brick and mortars as much as I can. It helps me spend less.

If I had the money for transportation I would probably leave the house. If I had to ride my bike or take the bus everywhere like I do now, I probably wouldn't leave much. I don't leave much now except for work and the grocery store. I don't think that's healthy, but that's my honest answer.
