Re: What is some of the most ridiculous fandom drama you have watched?

I shipped them harder than I've probably shipped anyone (possible exception for Mulder/Scully, but maybe not) and wanted them to be canon, but came across people with these incredibly complex ideas about how it would become canon, and they were so sure it would happen that *exact* way - it had to because of the clues - and I would think "You can't possibly know, this is too complicated for it to be likely to happen this exact way," but they were so sure and I felt like that gif of Homer backing away through the hedge.

Are-are you me? This could totally be me. I think Mulder/Scully wins out for me, but damn I was so, so invested in both these ships, each for a really, really long time.

And I am chuckling at the Homer backing away through the hedge image, because yeah, that is exactly how I felt.
