I shipped them harder than I've probably shipped anyone (possible exception for Mulder/Scully, but maybe not)

Are-are you me? This could totally be me. I think Mulder/Scully wins out for me, but damn I was so, so invested in both these ships, each for a really, really long time.

And I am chuckling at the Homer backing away through the hedge image, because yeah, that is exactly how I felt.
