I am currently listening to the audiobook "We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families" by Philip Gourevitch. It is about the Rwandan genocide.

I am not watching anything right now since The Boys.

Reading:

- In the Shadow of Statues by Mitch Landrieu (Former mayor of New Orleans, about race issues in America. I don't have much left so I'll probably finish this one soon.)
- Whispers in the Wind by Veronica Giolli (Main character's best friend supposedly committed suicide but she's suspicious. I'm about to give up on this one...I'm at 26%, don't like any of the characters and the writing is AWFUL.)
- His Grandfather's Watch by N.R. Walker (M/M romance. I read another of the author's books and didn't love it, so I'm not sure why I decided to read this one, but I like this one better so far.)
- Tamer Animals by Justin M. Woodward (Described as Texas Chainsaw Masscare meets Stand By Me. I just started it, but this is definitely the most interesting of the fictional ones I'm reading at the moment.)

Watching:

- Good Omens (I'm halfway through and loving it)
- Carnival Row (only watched the first episode but I liked it and want to watch more soon)

There are a couple others I'm kind of unsure about (Lodge 49 and The Terror, I've watched some but am behind on both of them). Also, yesterday I had two completely unconnected people recommend Succession to me out of the blue, so I might check that out.

Listening, I haven't really discovered anything new lately unfortunately.

Reading - The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. I'm about a third of the way through and it's not anything totally groundbreaking or anything, mostly just regular epic fantasy, but it hasn't annoyed me or pissed me off yet and the characters seem likable so far. So that's not nothing.

I'm reading Conn Iggulden's historical fiction series on Genghis Khan. I have no idea how historically accurate it is, but it's interesting!

Just finished watching Hellboy II yesterday. Was decent, though not as good as the first one. I just didn't find the villain quite as interesting I guess.

Next on my list is rewatching the Dune and Children of Dune miniseries. Not sure after that.

Just started a Lord of the Rings reread.

Watching The Bookshop on Amazon Prime, and reading "Pimps, Hos, Playa Hatas, and All the Rest Of My Hollywood Friends" by John Leguizamo.

I watched all of Carnival Row and came away shipping the Beauty and the Beast side characters more than the main pairing, no surprises there, because I’m very predictable in my shipping preferences.

I'm reading Cotillion, by Georgette Heyer. So funny, so intricately plotted!
