Re: what kinds of crafts do you do?

I've recently started making cat toys out of boxes, toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls, and I'm learning how to make junk journals out of little cereal boxes. I've got most (if not all) of the supplies I need for the first batch, and I've cut the boxes into the proper shapes, so now I need to look up some more tutorials on where to go from there. I'm also thinking of taking sewing and embroidering lessons again. My grandmother was a phenomenal seamstress (not the Discworld kind) who taught me a little bit when she was alive, and when she couldn't do it anymore her neighbor volunteered to teach me, but she was super unreliable and insisted on starting me on a super-complicated pattern that was way too advanced for my skill level and it kind of killed my interest for a long time.

Anyway, I'm hoping that picking up some crafty-type hobbies will help refuel my creative juices and help with my writing.
