Eh, you like what you like. Some are silly, but to me, a lot are just so full of energy and color, I love it. And the music is always so fun.

I've seen a few things (Sense8, Bend it Like Beckham), where they're showing supposedly 'real life' people doing Bollywood type dances at engagements and weddings. Is that really a thing, I wonder? Seems like a lot of effort....

I think The Second Best Marigold Hotel did this, too.

I think that is a real thing - people practice doing a choreographed dance number for a wedding - and I don't think it's exclusively Indian, like, at a western wedding the bridal party might do the Thriller dance or something.

I've seen some Western weddings doing that, but it always seemed sort of contrived and precious. The Indian ones seemed slightly more natural? Who knows. Weddings are so damn boring, anything to liven them up. :D
