Dude, I play the cello, which is possibly the lamest/nerdiest instrument to exist, yet I don't give a shit what anyone thinks. I copped abuse for it in high school, and just last night I got into an argument with a workmate who was calling it shit. But I'll still play it, because I love it. Don't stop playing your instrument just because other people think it's lame or uncool.

Cellos are love. <3 I don't play it myself but I love their voice. And I think they're pretty elegant.

Cellos are love. :3 Haha, I also think they're rather elegant, but they just look cumbersome when being carried around. It probably wouldn't have helped that my case is fire-engine red. >_>

Well yeah, cello cases look somewhat cumbersome... A girl I used to know referred to her cello case simply as "coffin" with the cello being the corpse. xD But hey, they're still better than double bass cases.

The pink-haired guy in my icon is Raikou from the manga Nabari no ou (that I don't really like anymore but I still like Raikou a lot).

Haha, I've had more than one kid come up to me and ask if there's a body in it. >_>

Why in the world would anyone think cellos are uncool?

Then again, just a few days ago, I spent about fifteen minutes talking with this one guy about why ukeleles, banjos, and accordians rock, so to me, a cello seems downright elegant.

Plus...they're gorgeous.

Because they aren't a guitar or a drumkit. =/ That basically sums it up.

haha, I understand that one. And he doesn't play anymore D: He really wants to take it back up again. My mom used to sort of kind of play piano...but idk, we're not really a musical family...I'm kind of the only artistic one ~~although I would pay to hear my dad play the cello again, I really would 8D~~

Oh god, I know ._. I actually haven't played in...a while...moved a few months ago, and I haven't had my violin shipped to me yet...plus, I have four housemates and am shy about playing when people can hear ;____; but I miss it so much.

My best friend plays the cello. And I think its sexy. And I'm not even bi. XD
