There are things other than the election that I follow, of course.

Man i don't mean to be rude, but what do you honestly expect considering you pretty much don't give a toss about the state your country is in or will be, depending on who comes into power.
No one's asking you for passion, most people just assume it's common sense you want to know what will happen in the future concerning where you live.

And i'm saying this as a non-american. I don't care who you support, but grow some maturity and lose that foolish apathetic attitude.

Well, look at it this way (and I don't know if this applies to the person you were addressing, but it's a different perspective that might be good to be aware of) - if you pretty much despise both of the candidates, then paying attention to mainstream politics really isn't worthwhile. Yeah, we're given a "choice," but it's not a very good one when neither one of the candidates who have a chance in hell of winning supports what you believe in. It doesn't mean that you don't give a damn - I certainly do - but it's like choosing between almonds and pecans when you're allergic to both, to use a personal analogy. If I could vote, I'd being going third party without a doubt. Which is why I tend to pay a bit more attention to political things that don't have to do with the presidential election.

I understand completely what you're saying, however the commenter stated she pretty much knew nothing about Palin.
But in order for you not to like either candidates, you'd have to look into them in the first place, which is evident she wasn't doing.
