My best friend and my sister both were beyond hyped for CC, would not stop talking about it before it came out, and then they both read it and I never heard a single word from them about it again, not even when I asked how it was. Never read it myself, but I assume it was BAD. XD

There are plenty of people that don't like their voices when they are recorded. Part of the reason is that it doesn't sound as good to them because it's missing the resonance chamber of their heads. But, you may be able to get over that. If you record and listen to it more, it can become more neutral. It happened for me after doing a fair amount of tasks that required me to do this. The fact that I was doing it for a specific reason helped and the fact that when I listened back, I was listening technically - for volume, clarity, background noise - really helped. Most computers and phones have voice recording software, but there is also Audacity or Vocaroo.

Looking for suggestions for some TV show to watch while crocheting

Preferable nothing super dark. I got US netflix and hulu. I've finished Stranger Things, Derry Girls, and every HGTV show. :(

Are there any good Pepper-centric fics? I'd prefer ones that stay true to her canon pairing with Tony and I would love one that details her life before the events of Iron Man but I'll take anything.

I thought I was going to feel that way, but some of the new characters have really struck a cord with me. T'Challa and Carol and Strange mostly. I'm looking forward to what comes next for them.

Great British Baking Show (as it's called on U.S. Netflix) if you haven't already seen it. Midsomer Murders for cozy British mysteries. Escape to the Country, which is like House Hunters but all English cottages and stuff. Lords and Ladles for adorable Irish chefs making historical menus. Weekend Aristocrats for looking at fancy country houses. History's Greatest Hoaxes. Love Your Gardeniif you like garden makeovers.

I say go for it, OP. Most people 'hate' their voice when they hear it recorded, because it's so different outside of their head. But unless you sound like Joan Rivers with a headcold and laryngitis, nobody's gonna care (and frankly - there's an audience for that).

So give it a whirl!

A deeper voice could be very soothing, actually, and a woman's deeper voice is definitely different from a man's (think Garbo - who wouldn't mind listening to that?).
