Dazai is a boring character and I hate most of the ships in bungou stray dogs involve him in some away

Yeah, I really don't like him all that much. Mostly because I rarely like the "creator's pet" type of characters and he's a particularly obnoxious example.

I wouldn't say he's boring but yeah it gets tiring to see him everywhere. Although it can be hard with the most popular ones, you just have to learn to filter the characters you don't like out.

I don't hate him but I agree he's not as interesting as the author thinks he is. It also annoys me how both the series and the fandom seem content to gloss over his treatment of Akutagawa.
