I mean, if someone tries to OD on pills and then suddenly decides they don't actually want to die, having the ability to make themselves vomit would definitely be a good thing. But beyond that quite specific situation, I don't see a lot of scenarios where having an easily triggered gag reflex would make much difference. If your body needs to vomit, it will make you vomit.

That said, if someone out there is acting like it's a woman's duty to "train away her gag reflex" in order to better please her man, then that person is a sexist asshole.

Thank you. And yes, I agree. It was just the medical aspect of it that had me wondering.
