I love spoilers. I love going into something knowing the entire plot. That way I can take in all the visuals and look for all the little details. I hate surprises in real life too, honestly. It doesn't ruin my enjoyment. I get that it does for most people. But it drives me crazy that people insist that it ruins it for everyone. Not everyone is the same. Some of us like spoilers, and that is okay.

Agreed

This is me too. I feel like I can relax and enjoy it because I'm not in suspense.

As a bonus I think it's saved me some time and money because I don't watch things with unsatisfying and stupid endings that I would have been disappointed by.

Same.

Plus, sometimes I can know the general plot of something going in, but even then there can still be surprises in how exactly it all plays out, or some character element that wasn't mentioned, or something. Just 'cause you know the general story doesn't necessarily mean there isn't still something there to surprise you.

Or that you won't still be affected by whatever it is. I knew about the major character death in my fandom going in and I STILL bawled when I actually saw it happen onscreen.

AYRT

Exactly! Same thing's happened to me as well. It's one thing to read about it, it's another entirely to actually experience it for yourself.
