This is my feeling because inevitably it's going to be the tomboy is a trans man and the guy with more domestic and "feminine" interests is going to be a trans woman because, you know, gender essentialism.

Like seriously, for an example, instead of Buttercup being the trans boy, make it Bubbles. That would actually be interesting!

This is my problem with most trans headcanons. A lot of them read like "character does traditionally [oppposite gender] thing, therefore they MUST be trans!" and it just feels like it pushes gender stereotypes in an uncomfortably ironic way.
