HOLY CRAP.

I swear to god. If I see one more person complain about Amanda's british accent. I'm going do throw a fit. Oh wait. I already am. I am so SO SICK AND TIRED OF IT. WE GET IT. PEOPLE DON'T LIKE IT. SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALREADY. DEAR GOD.

I happen to like it. I also happen to understand that if you lived in Victorian London back in the day you know, and then went all over the world you'd probably speak a little weirdly. I speak weird too (born in England, grew up elsewhere, school board tried to speech therapy me out of accent, thought it was me just speaking improper like), god knows what fandom would do to me if I was on a show.

If it throws you, it throws you. It would probably throw you if you knew someone too, but after a while you get used to it, and you just accept that they talk funny.

p.s I love David Hewlett, I think he's the bomb. I've enjoyed pretty much everything he's been in. I however also do not want all those fans that drive me up the wall with the misogyny over in the Doctor Who fan. They drive me bonkers.

Also? I'm a McShepper, I love David H and I even watched awful movies like Boa Vs Python, which OMG so bad on so many levels, but hey, I did watch for the Hewl. That said, I don't think he'd be a good Eleven. I love Ten, thank you very much, and even if he was written off, the Hewlett, awesome as he is, woudn't just be a good Doctor imo.
