107. I agree! If you're using an actual plot and stuff is happening, I feel that the sex often gets in the way and just gets tedious. If it's a PWP, fine, but if there's plot, sex every chapter just turns into a bore.

Hhrrgh. I think it can, sometimes, and often. It's what bothers me about a lot of the fic for both those pairings.

I would say that badly-done sex cheapens those relationships like hell, but 'romance' - passionate love - doesn't. I honestly think the relationship between Snake and Otacon was intended to be at least reminiscent of a romantic relationship, and the same goes for Phoenix and Edgeworth although they're marginally less obvious. But reducing everything to 'attraction' kills it for me.
