Think about it: They perceive the world far differently from your average person, their train of thought and mental segues tend to follow strictly logical lines, and their morals are just about nonexistant. If that's not interesting, well... then I guess it's just not your cup of tea. But I tend to actually hang around sociopathic characters in real life, and their train of thought and complete lack of concern for the well being of other people is immensely fascinating, in a morbid sort of way.
