I confess! I've only read three comment trees on this post. The first mega-response to 167 with super manly Kamina-Sama, this one, and the one the trolls below directed me to. Forgive me for not going through and seeking out your wisdom on this matter.

I do see the other side. I disagree with part of what the OP said - if it were just about cosplaying, I wouldn't give half a shit. And while it might upset the trolls and such to think so, I'm not really that stirred the fuck up that I feel the need to settle the fuck down. I find I don't really have to be frothing at the mouth to find the energy to reply to a couple of comments on the internet.

I'm amused that people locked onto that "take care of yourself" part. It shows that too much time has been invested by them on a fandom secret. The people reading and commenting on the secret casually are getting beat over the head with all these feminist sensibilities. And then they claim that this is a civilized discourse. Uh huh. Not buying it.
