I know they're older, and so is Telanu's, which I love. I tend to like AU stuff more for Snarry, though, so maybe my opinion's silly. :)

I ADORE Unwilling Sleep, and all her other PSOH fics are beautiful. :)

Nah, just because you don't agree with everyone, it doesn't make it silly. What kind of AU? Any fun recs?

I haven't read all of the others, but Unwilling Sleep is one of the fics I can read a million times and never get tired of it. Seriously, even thinking of it now is making me want to read it again. I love fics like that. :)

mami_san's Gunning Down Romance is the same. Do you know Weiss Kreuz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weiss_kreuz)? The anime is horrible, but the fandom is totally awesome (at least the Schwarz parts, I don't read all-Weiss fic)! It's worth watching the anime once to be able to read the fics (that's what I did), even though Schwarz shows up only somewhere around episode 12 to 14. You might need good friends and alcohol to last through it, though. Or a really twisted sense of humor. Alternatively, you could try reading about the series and then just start watching the series from when Schwarz shows up. It's so much better after that. XD (Still bad, though!) Mami has other great fics besides GDR, too, like SNAFU and Vaterunser, but at least SNAFU (Situation Normal All Fucked Up) won't work if you don't have a good understanding of canon because the start up point is that everything really is fucked up. It starts to make sense later on, though. And is absolutely hilarious. Highly recommended!

I can go round to Walking the Plank and try to dig up a few recs, I think. I haven't checked there in a long time. And mostly non-magical AUs, just because they're always interesting.

I used to be really into WK, it was one of my first major fandoms and I think I saw up to the first few eps of Gluhen. Probably the silliest and worst dubbed anime ever ;)

Oh gods, I don't even want to imagine watching it dubbed! It must be even worse than the original! The bit I heard had Schu's voice all wrong and all that shit. If you ever feel like digging in again, try Mami's fics. ;)

I was just typing up a nice long rec list and I accidentally dragged my mouse(damned touchpads) and it got all erased DX Dangit.
