NO Fuck The dub lovers, who bash all of us fans with REAL taste... but then again it has Vic in it so OMG its just has to be good...yeah think again.

Oh, yes, that was extraordinarily tasteful of you. I really have to ask you to explain something: How does reading subtitles make you the authority? How does watching the shows with the Japanese dialogue make you a fan with "REAL" taste? It's like saying how someone who prefers white wine to red has "REAL" class. It's just as arbitrary. It's why I say fuck you.

I want to make some points, here:

1. Vic Mignogna is not the only talented voice actor in that show. (YES, TALENTED.) Caitlin Glass is an extremely talented actress and a perfect English match for Haruhi. Greg Ayers, Luci Christian, Travis Willingham, this is an all-star cast. I really wonder if you have ever heard any of their work (and don't go off of Greg Ayers as Negi Springfield - that wasn't exactly his most triumphant role).

2. The term "dub-hater" usually applies. You're all* assholes who think you're better than everyone because you have to read subtitles to understand the show. "Dub-lover" does not always apply. I don't think of myself as a dub-lover, because there are some English casts that I cannot stand, and I refuse to watch the English version of those shows. (For example, Hikaru no Go was terrible: all of the middle-school age characters sounded like the 30-something-year-olds who played them.) Likewise, there are some shows that I will not watch in Japanese. (Take Fullmetal Alchemist: I would prefer the two main characters, both male, to SOUND male. Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya did not quite cut it.**) I watch whichever version of the show has the voices that fit the characters.

3. The term "dub," though easiest, is inaccurate. An English "dub" would technically be the same dialogue as in the Japanese version, only translated. There is a difference between dubbing and recasting, rewriting, redirecting a show. Sailor Moon in Japanese is not the same show as Sailor Moon in English.

Thanks for playing, but you were entirely wrong on all fronts of your poorly-written reply.

*I say "all" here because I have yet to find one of you who isn't a complete dick. Should such some to pass in the future, I will change this statement to "most."

**Obviously there are some exceptions to this rule of mine, small boys like Rinku from Yu Yu Hakusho, or characters like Momiji from Fruits Basket.
