Yeah I didn't find THOHH ending overly happy? More... bittersweet, and barely that, considering everything. I never got the impression that everyone just moved on and suddenly lived happily ever after. Some of them surviving the horror doesn't automatically make it a happy ending to me. Somewhere Between did far more brushing under the rug with everything bad that happened and suddenly everyone's living their best life.

Haha, I don't think I've ever come across another person that watched Somewhere Between, but yeah, that ending was weird. And the whole thing with the bad guy (or maybe it turned out he wasn't really the bad guy after all, I can't remember) intentionally crashing the plane with his mom and brother in it or whatever seemed to come out of nowhere. That was an odd show.

Right? Everything got totally wrapped up and the mom and Devon's character are suddenly happily family with the kid and no one even mentions that the husband got shot in the face! I was like, "Um... wat?"

The way he was like "I have an 8 year old" (or whatever age she was) before he even dated her mother was just weird.

And yeah, it seemed like they kind of forgot the husband ever existed after he was shot.
