Those trade-sized paperback books with the silky-smooth covers, they just feel *so good* (not shiny, but matte and just...silken....).

For hope. It's the last song on an album (Electro-Shock Blues) about loved ones dieing and maybe you need to listen to the full album for the effect but to me it's the epitome of going on.

For happiness. That's more the video than the song, though; I just love how much everyone in that orchestra enjoys playing. My favorite moment is at 1:11, when everyone's still grinning after the double bass twirl and then leans into the full orchestra theme.
