I get it, OP, 'cause I'm kind of in the same boat. It didn't happen the first time I heard it, but the lyrics "you keep on turning pages for people who don't care about you" hit me harder every time I hear them, because damned if that doesn't sum up my relationship with the woman who was once like a sister to me. It hurts like hell, and I'm sorry you're going through a similar struggle.

Still, as silly as it is, the next song, Found, makes me feel like maybe I'll get to have a close friend again. It also gives me hope that maybe I one day I will be ready to own another horse, that maybe I'll be able to love one as much as I loved Sharif, or at the very least that I'll be able to be around horses without having a breakdown.
