Text: I sometimes wonder what happened to this guy and his family after Order 66 dropped.

He was probably ok because I don't think the programming kicked in unless he actually heard the order, but there's still the possibility that he wound up losing everything.

I can't decide if I find that latter option too dark or a good example of tragic writing.

They're dumb and over-the-top now, but they're also bizarre enough to be amusing.

Text: I kind of low-key shipped Claw with every female character in the game (except for the siren/mermaid things), but the one woman I kept coming back to was this one;

(Images: On the left, an anthropomorphic female cat sitting on a table with her back to the audience, one leg crossed over the other and a glass in her hand. She's got black hair in a ponytail, thigh-high black boots, a white ruffled shirt, an orange vest, and a sword at her hip. On the right, the same cat is sitting at a bar, head on her hand as she looks at the main character, a male anthropomorphic cat in an old-timey Captain's outfit. She seems either amused or flirtatious.)

Text: She has no lines and is only on screen for ten seconds, but her sword and her clothes made me think she was a fellow pirate/adventurer, and thus a perfect match for him. I think I even tried to make up stories and fanart about this idea.

I have no idea why I was so invested in this. Romance is the last thing on Claw's mind in the game, and again, this is a weird character to choose.

I guess I got into romance and a love of obscure characters early.

Everything about the movie is just so weird and bad, it's really a mystery to me how the thing even got made this way. It's a bizarre thing.

I made the above secret before I'd finished the book and since then I've finished it... kinda disappointing, tbh. It wasn't like it was a bad novel, but it didn't really have a plot? It was all about the relationship, nothing else. I don't mind some relationship/romance in my sci-fi, but not as the only plot, or even the main plot.

Seconded hard. Testaments was a bit confusing to follow at times, but Lydia was a fascinating character in a satisfying sequel.
