When I look back I feel he clearly shouldn't have been teaching kids of that age. Of course primary/elementary school aged kids are gonna write a lot about what they know and like! There's ways to encourage going away from that that don't involve tearing them down about it.

Don't worry though! He didn't put me off writing or daydreaming. I consider that a victory for me.
