Hot. September and October are the hottest months of the year usually.

Cloudy, windy, and cold. They said the high today was supposed to be in the low 40s, but I don't think the temperature's gotten out of the 30s all day.

Fine by me, though, I love this kind of weather.

Shockingly cold here. Not cold cold. But it was in the low 50s here all of a sudden after being in the 90s yesterday. Texas doesn't usually get 50 degree weather in October. Plus it was windy and rainy, so it felt even colder. I had a thick sweater on.

Upper 70s and sunny today, rainy and a high of 60 tomorrow.

The high was 89°F and it was sunny today, which means it is pretty nice. I like hot weather, but the 110°F and above we regularly reach during the summer can be a bit much, so I enjoy this time of year.

I hate halloween and I can't stand horror, but sure enough, "Corpse Bride" is my favourite Tim Burton film.

Also that Silly Symphony with the dancing skeletons.

I saw an interesting little anthology series on the CW this past summer called "Two Sentence Horror Stories" that I rather enjoyed. It had some genuinely creepy moments throughout.

I love horror/sci-fi anthology series in general, really. "The Twilight Zone", "Tales from the Darkside", "Night Visions", "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" (from my childhood!), to name but a few. I've also liked some "Thriller" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" episodes as well.

And I enjoy a lot of the big/classic horror movies. Psycho, Halloween, When a Stranger Calls, Scream, and the like.

resident evil 4 is a classic. most horror stuff i don't enjoy anymore because mental bulllshit, but this one's just the right mix of camp and horror. i'm not even mad at the jumpscares

Movies: The Thing, The Conjuring, and The Others.

TV: The Twilight Zone and The Haunting of Hill House.

Books: NOS4A2, House Of Leaves, The Troop, and A Head Full Of Ghosts.

Games: Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill 2.

Podcasts: The NoSleep Podcast, knifepoint horror, Quietly Yours, and We're Alive.

Psychological horror. Anything not super gory. I like the horror atmosphere more than anything else. I like eldritch kind of things. although, one of my favorite horror movies is Event Horizon and that is pretty gory. But it is so good that I don't even care. I like the original Halloween, and the second one is decent too.

I'm enjoying the Into the Dark tv show. I like The Haunting Hour, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosbumps, Channel Zero, and Tales from the Crypt. Really any horror anthology series is probably something I'll enjoy.

I loved the Goosbumps books as a kid as well as anything by Bruce Coville, the Scary Stories books, and the original Dracula book. Still love those actually.

I am visiting my sister to see her new house. Tomorrow we are going to Costco and Lowe's. The one thing I don't be doing is crocheting. The zebra is done.
