Heh, yeah, it's funny how what's considered cold weather can vary depending on where one lives :D. People up here in Iowa would kill for the 50s right now :p.

I can understand the feeling of the cold coming a bit too soon and sudden for some people. It does seem like we're all going from one extreme to another with no middle comfortable ground (and god, yeah, going from the 90s/100 to the 50s so fast would be quite jarring). But a nice afternoon out in 50-some degree weather sounds very nice, indeed, and a cool, rainy day can be very cozy, too :). Hope the weather continues to be to your liking, then!
