I hate most of the CLAMP mangas endings

It's probably why they took decades to get around to finishing a lot of them, even they knew how bad they were.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. And then it's a Clamp manga.

How bad is it that my knee jerk reaction is "wait, they have endings?"

Me too. Most of them range from just anticlimatic (most of the cutesy ones like CCS, the Clamp Campus comics, Angelic Layer, Wish) to either completely illogical (Chobits) or tonally broken (the problems with Tsubasa and xxxHolic are so deep that it's debatable if ANY ending could've salvaged them)

Their one SOLID ending is Tokyo Babylon, and they decided to drag it into X/1999 and shit all over the things that made it good, so.

I've said it before and it's probably the one hill I'll die on: Clamp anime is better than Clamp manga, and I don't think it's a coincidence that most of them change the endings in larger or smaller ways.
